Forum Guidelines
Member's Rights:
By joining Christianity Forums, you become a member for life. Unless forfeited by the user or banned by a staff member, you're membership will exist on this forum. As a member, you are granted the ability to reply to ongoing threads, start your own threads, take part in polls, join in on conversations and make many new friends here on Christianity Forums. To be a member of Christianity Forums, you need to meet the following requirements:
1. You must be at least 13 years of age.
2. You must agree to follow the terms and conditions you committed to when you registered.
3. You must follow the additional forum rules below.
Section A. Beliefs:
A.1. Members my not promote any faith, belief, or religion other than Christianity.
To clarify what the Christianity Forums believe please read our Statement of Faith. Any beliefs that does not align with this Statement of Faith will NOT be promoted.
A.2. Attack the message, not the messenger.
This is a non-denominational Christian forum and because of this there will be controversial issues being covered. We are to sharpen other Christians as iron sharpens iron. Because of this I will allow members to defend their beliefs, but not attack members.
A.3. Do not attack groups of people.
This goes in conjunction with Rule A.2, attacking anyone is un-Christian and will be punished depending on the situation.
A.4. There will be no discrimination of different forms or doctrines of Christianity.
We may not agree on everything, but we should be building one another up rather than tearing each other down. (Romans 14)
A.5. Provide Scripture when making a biblical point
When you are defending what you believe include the scripture that shows why you believe that way. If there is no scripture to defend what you say, you may be warned.
Section B. Making Posts:
B.1. Do not flame.
Flaming is wrong and only will end up getting you warned and possibly even banned. (Depending the severity)
B.2. Avoid Un-Christian behavior
Topics and/or posts discussing, depicting or condoning sexual behavior, violence, or otherwise inappropriate/unbiblical behavior and activities are prohibited. Any such topics/posts will be deleted, and a warning issued.
B.3. Do not Spam.
Spamming of any kind will not be tolerated, including the recruitment of members to and advertisement of other forums. There is a forum just for advertisements. Keep all of them in that forum. Also, any posts that are deemed irrelevant to a topic (“spam”) will be deleted. Likewise, topics started that do not have an obvious or substantial purpose will be locked. No questions asked.
B.4. Do not use "1337" Speak.
This is one of the most annoying things ever. If you can't seem to use real words you will be warned. (Unless granted permission via PM with administrator. This is in the case of a Forum game or a Role Playing Game)
B.5. Do not abuse smileys.
Over use of smileys is a common mistake made by many new members. Smilies are used every now and then to convey emotion in your posts. Smilies are a privilege, not a right.
B.6. No cursing.
I have blocked off all cursing but if you try to get around this by using numbers instead of letters you will be confronted and punished accordingly.
B.7. Do not double post.
There is two editing tools, The quick edit makes it very fast and easy to edit your posts.So use it! Double and triple posting can be annoying if done repeatedly. If you find this a problem please PM me (Jason) I will see what I can do to help out by either amending the rule slightly or adding exceptions to certain forums. -- Exceptions include: The Help Desk
B.8. Do not post one word replies.
It is nice to hear your opinion but just a "Nice" doesn't really get it you know? Try to make your post count.. If you want to tell someone that what they posted was nice, tell them why!
B.9. Respect the privacy of others.
Members are requested not to post any potentially personally-identifiable information, such as home addresses, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, post/zip codes or full birth names, on the main forums. This is for your own safety. Any such information that is discovered will be removed by a Staff member, and the member notified. Also, it's not encouraged for any member to exchange personal details with other members, and those who harass the other members will be warned and possibly banned.
Section C. Other:
C.1. No double accounts
Each Christianity Forums member may have only one account.
C.2. We are not a Christian dating forum
Do not ask for help finding a partner or anything of the sort! We will help you will issues with your loved one but that is as far as we go. We will not find you another!
C.3. Media Theft and Piracy
There will be no promotion of piracy, illegal hacking of software, or media theft of any sort; links leading to such content will not be allowed, nor will requests for any sort of crack or illegally obtained software. No exceptions. You are also not allowed to post copyrighted material. If a member is found doing this, they will be warned or possibly banned.
C.4. Respect All members and Staff.
All members and staff must be treated with respect at all times. Members did not join to be your punching bag at the end of a hard day. Please understand that, although you may never see their face, behind each post is a person who has emotions.
C.5. Actions taken by Admins/Moderators should not be discussed publicly or on the main forum
If you have a complaint with a particular Staff member or decision made by them, contact that Staff member via a PM or e-mail. If that fails to provide you with a mutual agreement on the matter, speak to an Admin. In the event you verbally attack a staff member, you relinquish all rights, and forfeit your membership. This includes all staff of The Revolution, denoted by the special icon over their avatar. Mocking staff is also prohibited. (this includes discussing and bashing the rules when they have already been made perfectly clear)

This is a major no-no. Please post the whole thought and do not change the message of the scripture by skipping a key verse.
