Hey-Howdy-Hey!

I am (quite obviously) new here. http://Christianityforums.org/public/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif

I am, first and foremost, a follower of Christ, under the technical name of a "Southern Baptist." I was saved at age seven, but actually took ownership of my faith some time during seventh grade.

I'm a student and instead of a "real" job, I am a bookbinder and artist (you can see my online shop here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/BadonHill )

I joined the site with good intentions last year, but never really looked at it. Now I'm here to really participate! Whoot!

And that's about it for my one minute bio. http://christianityforums.org/public/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif

nice bio!

Welcome to the forum. I'm actually happy you waited until now to become active. Before now I was sadly miss-focused. Now my focus is not on member number or post number but on each post glorifying Christ.

So it looks like you work with leather materials for you books? How do you get customers? I mean, do they send in their books and you bind them or do you take books from publishers or how does that work?

Yes, I use leather for the covers of my books, but rather than covering existant books, I use my own blank (or sometimes lined) paper to create journals and/or sketchbooks. So the insides look something like this: http://www.etsy.com/...ing_id=38900510

Beinvenidos! Its nice to meet ya :) I grew up in a Missionary Baptist Church and went to B.Y.K.O.T.A. meetings, so I think we'll be great comrades.
